Jim Valenzuela, founder and CEO of V’s Barbershop, has grown the brand into a nationally recognized men’s grooming franchise with over 60 locations since opening the first shop in Phoenix’s Arcadia neighborhood in 1999. Inspired by childhood visits to his local barbershop in Tucson and the desire to share similar experiences with his son, Jim built V’s Barbershop as a place where men and boys could enjoy classic haircuts, straight-razor shaves, and an authentic barbershop atmosphere.

A graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Business Administration, Jim began his career in securities and real estate before serving as an Executive Assistant to a Maricopa County Supervisor. He later became the Founding Executive Director of Medical Professionals of Arizona (MedPro), leading a multi-specialty physician organization with 300 doctors and 200 staff, managing operations, business strategy, and public affairs.

Jim’s leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication to quality have positioned V’s Barbershop as an industry leader, recognized for its premium services, authentic atmosphere, and successful nationwide expansion.
