Jana Westerbeke, daughter of Pam McNair-Wingate, grew up in the hustle and excitement of the beauty industry. As Gadabout’s first intern, Jana discovered her true passion in life. Through the creativity of hairdressing, she found she could touch people’s lives in many ways and as a Gadabout educator for more than three decades she knows that the more she teaches and shares her knowledge, the more she learns in life.

Working side by side with her mother, Jana helped to create the vision and philosophy that is Gadabout. In 2005, the torch was passed, and today, as Co-President, Jana carries on the high standards of excellence. Under her leadership, Gadabout’s legendary customer service continues to keep this award winning company strong. "I am here to coach and lead so others can succeed." In the Tucson community, Jana was awarded the 2008 Women of Influence Award presented by Inside Tucson Business for her "pay it forward" mentality. Jana was also selected as one of the first five finalists of the Athena Award presented by the Arizona Small Business Association in its inaugural year 2010.

In addition to being a devoted mother of two beautiful daughters, and partner in life and in Gadabout with her husband Frank Westerbeke, she is one of Tucson’s most selfless citizens. Gadabout SalonSpas supports many worthy Tucson charities. Gadabout underwrote the costs of an in-house salon at the new Peter & Paula Fasseas Cancer Center at UMC North to serve patient needs. 

Her dedication to making this community a better place also involves The Boys and Girls Clubs of Tucson. She knows that every child needs positive influences in their lives to thrive and become the best they can be. She is an active board member, past president and immediate past co-chair for their largest fundraising event, The Party.

The future is bright for this talented woman — her vision and passion for life will continue to influence others for years to come.
